Well Tuesday I have a job interview in Bartow County (Cartersville) for the position of ABD supervisior over two counties. I am sooooo very nervous about this position. I really hope to have a position like this as it seems this may be the only way to get some experiance in some of the skills needed to break into HR management.
Please send postive thoughts to my family and myself as I really hope this position can help move my family toward the brighter furture James and I have worked so hard for.

Another update on the whole job search thing. I am sitting here now looking at jobs, I found a really great one yesterday that I applied for in Gainesville, GA. and today there was one in Newnan, GA. at the Petsmart distrubtion center, which I would love to have. I am not sure how much it pays but one on the incentives was that you can buy stock and you get discounts on merchandise, Jakes eats alot so that can only be a postive! The Gainesville job I applied for was open to entry level so I am VERY hopefull on that as well.
I got excited yesterday when one of the ABD supervisor positions I applied for called, when she called she thought I was applying for the position I currently hold just in another county. NO I need a better job with more money! So my bubble was burst pretty quickly. On the bright side she did tell me she would contact me when she got ready to hire for the position I actually applied for.
I am waiting for my region advertise the supervisor position, I have already had two co-workers give me a favorable suggestion to the one who would eventually hire, so again that is postive. But they need to go ahead and advertise because Michelle and I have a master plan that needs to be implemented soon! Plus Michelle I have been checking out that house up the road that Antonio mention to you and it does have a inground pool! Makes me even more pumped to have you guys move here, we can trade off and have weekend BBQ’s with the kids!

Well the last few weeks have been hectic! First up my supervisor finally quit! Yes! The world is right again! LOL If ya’ll work with me or live with me you know how much this lady got on my nerves! She was a nice person, terrible supervisor! Then to top if off Jo came back to work! So Trice is gone, Jo is back…all is right with work right now! No more stresses, at least no stress that is caused be stupid mess that doesn’t have to be done.
We also had this audit going on that is basically everyone finding and making sure they have every case record that is in their load id and every piece of paper in the case record, sounds simple enough right? Well not after the disaster that was Trice, We basically had like six boxes (moving boxes) full of papers that had to be filed, and case records scattered across five counties. But we pulled together as a team and with some help from the clerical staff at work we got it done! That is such a relief, I can not express how wonderful work is right now ( I am jinxing myself I know, it is all going to blow up tomorrow!)
The kids only have 16 more days in school, where did this year go? Next year Shayla will be in the fifth grade and Tai in the second! I swear it seems like only yesterday I was holding back tears taking them into pre-K! We are not sure what we are going to do this summer, Shayla has already put in for Girl Scout camp, so we know that is on the calender. First we have to get through the next few weeks, lots of things coming up, Savannah’s birthday party on the 17th, Field days on the 16th, Shayla Girl Scout trip on the 30th, I think this is the best thing about having kids, you might fuss about having to do all the extra things but they really are fun and what kids remember when it is all said and done, happy memories!
