Miss Rainbow

My little cousin Jessica Turner is involved with the group Rainbow. According to its’ website;” Rainbow is a nonprofit organization that strives to give girls the tools, training, and encouragement to let their individual spirits shine bright. By providing members with a safe, fun, caring environment where responsible, older girls can interact and mentor younger girls through family involvement.”

The web site also points out that Rainbow teaches girls the benefit of helping others by volunteering and performing acts of kindness. I know from what I have heard from her mother, aunt and our grandmother Rainbow has been a tremendous benefit to Jessica. Jessica has faced a lot of difficult issues growing up and any group that can has been this much of a blessing to her, I am all for. Jessica and her family have worked hard to raise money for Jessica to be named “Miss Rainbow”. Right now they are $1000.00 short of her goal of $2500.00. She has to raise the $1000.00 by April 4th. So if anyone wants to chip in a little to help Jessica reach her goal I know she would appreciate it very much.

Also congradulation to Jessica for making Worthy Advisor, she will be crowned on June 13th

If you would like to help out Jessica you can contact her Mother at ruby.turner@healthportfield.com and she will give you the information on how to make a donation. Good Luck Jessica!
